Chance Gaul from Laguna Beach is one best groms out there... Surf, Skim, Skate you name it! He's part of the LBag crew and has huge potential, for 13 he's one of the best downhill skaters we've ever seen. We spent the day filming & slashing around on electrics. All I can say is this grom rips! and we'll post the footy tomorrow... it's awesome!

Chris Chaput & Altered invited the Laguna Beach Alpha Groms and friends down for tour of ABEC 11. They got to ride an array of skateboards including Altered Electrics and learned about wheels, bearings, trucks & more. Plus see how design prototypes are made using programs like SolidWorks, CNC machines, etc... The crew was super stoked and they left really GREEN!

If you publish the Skateboarder's Journal website, have skateboarded across America 3 times, organized the World Slalom Skateboarding Championships 5 times & even published a book titled "The Skateboarder's Journal - Lives on Board"... How would you run for office?

Well, Jack Smith is currently running for city council in Morro Bay, California and he choose to travel about the city greeting folks using one of our boards! His campaign is receiving both local and national coverage due to the fact that he's a 53 year old, die hard, skateboarder and he's willing to campaign waay outside of box! Hey Jack, you got our vote!

3 Time World Champion, Martin Siegrist spent a little time at the beach today filming with his GoPro helmet camera. Every time he rode by he had a big grin. We'll post some of the footy soon. Martin is one of the most technical racers in the world. He's from Switzerland and he gets to travel quite a bit. Mischo wins the World Cup!

ABEC 11 rider, Mischo Erban has clinched the 2009 IGSA World Cup Series Championship by winning Hot Heels Africa today. His dominating win put an exclamation mark on his year where he showed he could consistently qualify fast and finish on or near the top of the podium at almost every event.

BTW, during the Malarrara Pro Teutonia in Brazil, Mischo also set the official IGSA World Speed Record of 113.02 km! He's the fastest skateboarder in the world and it's on Reflex Formula Retro's. Funny how the same formula on the Zig Zag is so fun, smooth and easy to ride... but it's also the fastest on the planet! Congrats Mischo!

Our rep force got their new cars just in time for the holidays, so they're out & about. If you put the boards in just right you can get 2 PRO-LINE 600's in the trunk with plenty of room for a sack lunch!
Ha ha... just kidding about the company cars, but I'm sure Tesla is down for the cause. The future is electric! and yeah two Altered board's will fit. BTW, this is Tesla #5!
